The course includes reading/preparation material, a live review session, and cost of the exam. The EPA 608 certification exam prepares technicians for the following four certifications: Type I: Repair of small appliances, Type II: High pressure refrigerants (i.e. Mini Split Heat Pumps), and Type III: Low pressure appliances (chillers), or Universal. 6 hours total – 2 different days (prep/review day and review/exam day)
